Today Udyog Software (India) Ltd. is fully established software development company, having reach across India, with 24 service centers, 250 professionals and technocrats, and basket of software products to address the variety of clients. The journey was initiated in the year 1993 by two young aspirants Mr. Sanjay Mehta & Mr. Arun Dixit, in small table space. Good planners always do begin with the bare minimal and transform the same into gigantic resources. Successful transition through this fruitful experience, UDYOG had its own share of twists and turns. UDYOG has kept on adding new Tools, Expertise & Skill Sets enriching clients with productive software solutions.

Milestones

• 1993 ----- ------ Customized Software Solution and Consultancy
  To begin with we started with consultancy and customized solution, you can say concept of every thing for every one. But going through these different clients and different requirement, we came across to clients who had matching requirement. Hence we stared developing standard software. That was the time we discovered.
  
  
• 1995------------Enterprise Accounting
  During this period of business we had strong presence in Mumbai especially with Traders, Stock list, Distributors & Retailers.
  
  
• 1996-----------Excise Trading
  Later on UDYOG revealed one fresher niche market of Excise software. This is one product where others were afraid to get into, because of required critical domain knowledge, consistent updating and prompt on-site support.
  
  
• 1997-----------Excise Manufacturing
  Till now we had very sound client base, which had solid faith in UDYOG, started demanding solution for inventory, order processing, distribution etc.
  
  
• 1997-----------Inventory and order processing
  Manufacturing Inventory and Order Processing were integral part of operations and has got linked with Manufacturing Excise.
  
  
• 1999-----------Export Documentation (Niryat)
  We got numerous request from our existing clients to develop export documentation software. All customs related documents with multi currency & register and invoicing was developed also link with accounting was provided.
  
  
• 1997-----------Multi Branch merging
  We saw that factories & H.O were at different locations. Hence to reduce the data entry and reconciliation problems between factory and H.O. Data synchronization through Multi- Branch Merging were provided.
  
  
• 2001-----------Visual UDYOG
  All the products were rewritten and developed on windows platform. A true window based system with all the technical feature and enhancements of GUI interface.
  
  
• 2003-----------Payroll (Tankhwa)
  Tankhwa is one of the most flexible package in terms of technology. It gives user choice to select his own back end for e.g. oracle, SQL, M.S. Access, Informix, Sybase etc. It allows to integrate the software with Swap card, so that data entry can be minimized. Software gives maximum reports, statutory documents and MIS reports in minimum data entry.
  
  
• 2004—---------Branding of Black Bull ERP
  Over the period of time we were ready with all the standard software which can be integrated and linked to each other from one destination to another destination. Same concept is called as an ERP which we were having it previously on DOS platform and presently on Windows.
  
  Unconsciously we had developed an ERP, which was existing since years, same later on branded as Black Bull ERP.
  
  
• 2004------------Vastra Software
  2003 was one of most important year of Udyog, in which we realize the potential of Garment and Textile segment, who were searching for Excise solution after getting into Excise. Whole segment was demanding solution for their business process, which we fulfilled by launching Vastra Software.
  
  Vastra Software is catering to the requirement of Retailers, Traders, Retail Chain Operator and Manufacturer of Textile and Garments. Managing real time inventory is most critical part of garment and Textile business which is linked to purchase, sales, accounts etc. This software are incorporated with Garments and Textile's practices, satisfying every problem of all the existing user. We can call it an ERP for Garment and Textile industry.
  
  Inclusion and Innovation kept on adding more and more products services.
  
  
• 2004------------1Key (Reporting Tool)
  It is a tool to get direct access to the database of software, helping to generate any report in any format. User can decide the format and content of the report that he wants to see does not need to rely on hard core programmer, that too without having any technical knowledge.
  
  
• 2004------------Service Tax Software
  Govt. had passed new finance bill under which service tax was brought under the CBEC. And service providers were allowed take credit of Excise paid on input goods. We have invented new software for service provider, to maintain service tax related statutory documents and filling statement to govt.
  
  
• 2004-----------Input Service Provider Software
  One more entity came into existence according to new finance bill, i.e. Input Service Provider. Head office or branch offices of manufacturing units are allowed to pass on service tax paid on input services at offices. We have introduced special software to computerize transactions of Input Service Provider.
